"Hero" of the right, Ronald Reagan, raised the debt ceiling 17 times, because of the lost revenue from his early tax cuts. Talk about living beyond your means, "lets just charge it". Of course he latter had to increase taxes, and the economy did well afterward, as well as when Clinton raised taxes. In fact we haven't seen as robust an economy since the era of Clinton. What the right doesn't realize or chooses to ignore is if you "tighten the belt" of the poor and the middle class a lot less money goes into the economy and it faulters.

Hypocritical Tea Partiers

Republicans and Tea Partiers are in a rush to repeal the new health care law which will increase the deficit by 230 billion, all in the name of reducing the deficit. Looks like nothing but a big "Fuck You" to Democrats and nothing more.

We're worried about the government controlling our lives but we're not worried about multi-billion dollar corporations controlling our lives? ... headed for a corporatocracy!

Maybe the "End of Times" that Revelations speaks of is an "intra-psychic" end of ones "status-quo-self" to an "Expanded All-inclusive-Self", not some silly nightmare an ancient preacher had.
